Pounds Lost: 10
Inches lost: 18"
Starting Weight:168
Weight Now: 158

Eating healthy and exercising has never been a really big part of my
life. Until one day I happened to come across an old high school
photograph and realized how thin I was.  Yes, it's normal to gain  a
few pounds after you graduate but I gained more than a few, fifty to
be exact.  I started to feel bad about the was I was looking  and I
never wanted to fix myself up and t-shirts became my best friend.
That's when I realized I was to young to let myself go. I joined the
slym gym because of a friend and together we set our own personal
goals and started to workout regularly.   It was really difficult at
the beginning because I never wanted to get up and go but it soon
became a part of my life style but there was still something missing.
My eating habits hadn't changed and even though some of the  weight
was coming off I knew I could lose more if I changed the way  I ate. I
wanted and needed to learn how to eat healthy. That's when I heard
about the biggest loser competition. I knew that was just the thing I
was looking for and signed myself up.  It  was harder than I thought.
The workouts were rigorous. The best part was that I didn't have to
cut out alot of the foods I ate. I just needed to learn how to eat in
moderate portions.  I learned how to count calories and eat healthier
foods. It was hard to get used to but it wasn't bad at all. It took
alot of will power and dedication to come to  the workouts and stay on
track during the weekend but i knew how much I would benefit from it
at the end. I also enjoyed weighing in on Mondays. It was such a good
feeling to know that I was doing good for myself and I was doing it
right.  I also loved having my friends around enjoying the same
success I was.  My life  changed completely.  I noticed I was carrying
my healthy ways on to my family. Three months later I look and feel
better about myself. I may not have hit my goal weight but I'm not
giving up.  This is only the beginning and soon I will prevail. I've
learned more than enough to keep up this healthy and enjoyable
lifestyle and I owe it all to Stacy Roberts.  She gave me my life
back. It feels good waking up and getting dressed  in the morning
knowing that I look great.  Now I can walk the streets with my head
held high and not worry about people talking.
