Whether it is through our social community or through the expert advice of our registered dietitian we are here.

Here is one of our success stories.

Being A Loser Saved my Life!

Sometimes, when you lose, you win! Being called a loser isn’t necessarily bad thing when it is in losing pounds and it changes your live. My story starts well before meeting Stacey Roberts RD, LD. I have always been an advocate of keeping healthy and maintaining a healthy weight but it wasn’t until a year ago when I underwent surgery for a hernia in my abdomen and I gained around 15pounds due to inactivity and unhealthy eating. Well you might not think that is a lot, but it was for my 4’10” small frame, it really made a difference. Not only was the added extra weight felt in my clothes but most importantly my health physical and mental, my cholesterol and triglycerides were elevated, I was feeling depressed and my doctor was concerned. So that is when I decided something needed to be done “this wasn’t the person I wanted to be at 58 years old.” I decided to enter a biggest loser contest that Stacey Roberts held at her gym. I entered at 150 pounds a 36”waist, and 40 ½ “ around my hips. It was only through the motivation of my dietitian/trainer and the support of my team mate that I was able to find my inner strength, my health and a confidence that has changed my life forever.  Though I wasn’t the biggest loser in the contest, I sure do feel like the biggest winner, losing 13pounds, 6inches around my waist and 5 ½ inches around my hips! I feel better than I have ever felt in years and I AM LIVING PROOF AT MY YOUNG AGE I AM  IN GREAT SHAPE
